Bob

Owned by Natalie
Black and white Working Sheepdog
D.O.B. – 4th August 1999
BFA Awards - Flyball Dog; Intermediate, Graduate, Advanced, Silver, Gold

Bob racing in his prime

Once the fastest dog on our team, Bob was tragically hit by a car and lost his right hind leg in October 2003, shortly after gaining his Gold award. With gentle rehabilitation he is now fighting fit, he made his flyballing comeback at our show in September 2004; the first and so far only 3 legged dog to compete...he has the occasional run in starters (over 8" jumps) but is now obviously retired.

Nat says...
'I was totally spoiled with Bob as my first flyball dog, he was so easy to train and was paw perfect from day one; the three seasons we ran together are something I will always treasure, he never once let me or the team down...he regularly won in singles and pairs time trials and featured in the BFA annual awards as well as being the collie that ran on the 2002 multibreed team of the year...on top of all that he has a dream temperament and is loved by everyone he meets...truly a dog in a million and a very much missed member of our team'

Bob running with 3 legs - the same look of determination on his face!
